Day 8 - Joy in the Skies

 

          For those who don’t live in the 505 (aka Albuquerque) , I wanted to share our joyful skies during the second week of October.  Pictures don’t do it justice, but you get a taste of the beautiful Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. Enjoy!

For 1 week each Oct. this is our view driving to work.

It takes 2 hours every morning for the 500 plus balloons to launch.

Balloon pilots hand out trading cards with a photo of their balloon.

We all have our favorite balloons and look for them every year.

My kids have enjoyed going to the Balloon Glow almost every year.

Several evenings are dedicated to the special shaped balloons.
